Join us at George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, for the annual VACAS convention October 24 & 25, 2014!

 

The Virginia Association of Communication Arts and Sciences (VACAS), http://vacasvirginia.com/, is the primary Virginia state organization for scholars and professionals in the communication discipline.

1.   VACAS accepts papers/programs from faculty in communication related disciplines from

  • Colleges and universities, community colleges, K-12
  • The Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia, and

o   Neighboring states:  Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, Pennsylvania

 

2.   VACAS accepts graduate student papers and/or panels.

  • Each graduate panel is organized by a faculty member, who will act as chair of the panel of papers.
  • Submit papers individually, or organize a panel of graduate papers centered around a theme.
  • Submit to:  VACAS Convention Coordinator <stomasov@gmu.edu>

 

3.  Nominations for the 2014 VACAS annual awards:

Submit all award nominations by October 1, 2014 to: the VACAS Committee <stomasov@gmu.edu>
